The Vancouver Island Real Estate Board’s (VIREB) summary for the month of February stated that normal sale prices have gone up as well as real estate transactions. 76 single-family residential homes were sold in the Comox Valley area. In the month of January only 59 homes were sold. The president of VIREB, Jennifer Lynch, stated that the market seems to be performing just as they expected.

“We saw a surge in activity in February, brought on by more listing inventory,” she said. ” Homeowners and realtors are gearing up for a busy spring in a robust market.” There was a 14 per cent increase during the month of Febuary in 2006 to the recent month when the sale price rose from $260,112 to $297,189.

Renting is an option that many people choose when finding a home. They choose this over buying because they find it easier. As with everything there are things to keep in mind and to remember when renting. You should always be prepared to create a renter’s re’sume’ with your current and previous five addresses and landlord phone numbers, your employer and length of employment, your current salary and other income, personal references, among other information and include a copy of your credit report. Most renter’s want to look at your background to make sure that you don’t skip out on people and that you are someone they would want to rent to.

The great white sharks are the largest carnivores that you can find in the ocean. Scientists are still studying these fascinating creatures and trying to unravel their mysteries. They know that they are creatures that travel alone and are in constant search for food. They have still not determined how long they live and how quickly they grow.
